The California Young Birders' Club (CAYBC)

Young birders bringing together young birders across the state of California by fostering an appreciation of birds, ornithology, and nature.

History

The club was founded by Elisa Yang in 2014 to further her vision to bring together young birders across the state and create a sense of community. It is currently run by Eddie Monson (NorCal), Rajan Rao (NorCal), and Max Breshears (SoCal). Trips have been surrounded around rare bird chases, looking for specialized species, finding lifer for club members, and much more!
