The Southern California Chapter is based out of Los Angeles and was started when the club was founded in 2014. It went on hiatus for a few years but restarted in 2023. It does many trips around Southern California including out to the high desert and the Salton Sea. Many members are also photographers, so it focuses on photography a large amount too; however, any and all experience levels are welcome!
